You know, many of us have been listening to great music for a great many years.  But one of the things that has always resonated with me is the music that touches the soul.  And it's not just the lyrics.  It's the sounds that remind one of how much we miss the happier times or the struggles we've been through that often bring a tear to one'e eye.  I have often found that in the performance or act of creating a piece of music I have encountered instances in which you just strike just the perfect note to draw a tear.  It's an amazing experience when you achieve this.  It's like capturing the perfect moment in the act of creation.  When I see performances by some of the greatest singers, greatest musicians, or even young newbies who can belt out a song from the heart, you can't help but feel emotional about it when they hit it just right.
