From the recording Speeder's Credo

Speeder's Credo was a term we invented a few decades ago back home early in our driving careers.  It was a methodology for illegally speeding on highways without getting caught.  You see, growing up in Canada, we never had the privilege of using radar detectors to spot cops with radar guns.  As a result, we came up with these unwritten rules that would enable driving enthusiasts to predict where and how cops could "trap" drivers for speeding.  What it amounted to was travelling as fast as one wanted as long as one slowed down a few miles before certain "known" areas where cops could exist. Once a driver was far enough away from the possible police presence, the driver could effectively drive as fast as they dared.  The pace and the beats of this instrumental reflect that kind of slow down, cruise, then "slam the hammer down" behavior.  As long as the coast was clear, a driver could enjoy every bit of what was under the hood... many, many years ago.
